Size of the grid and control

Change the size of the grid and the number of cells generated
Modifying these settings resets the simulation with random cells

Initial density of the grid

Auto reset

Define when the grid will be automatically reset.

Randomize

When the Randomization is enabled, the system will randomly mutate the selected parameters to create cool visualizations

The "Randomizer frequency" parameter is the number of iterations before each mutation of the settings. If you change this value you need to turn Randomization off and on again (to be fixed)

Preset configurations

Edge wrapping

Allow cells at the opposite sides of the grid to be considered as neigbors

Invert visualization

When enabled don't show the alive cells and colorize the dead ones This can create some better visualizations for some automata

Neighbors selection

Define which cells are selected as neighbors

Moore: 8 neighbors. All direction
Von Neumann: 4 neighbors. N, W, S and E only
Diagonal: 4 neighbors. NW, NE, SW and SE only
ECA: 2 neighbors. W and E

Birth conditions

The number of living neigbors which allows a cell to become alive

Survive conditions

The number of living neigbors which allows a cell to stay alive

Presets

Save the current configuration.

The "Save" button add the current configuration to the list of presets. The "Export" button allows you to download the current configuration as a JSON file.
